Technique Class Projects


Woodland Park DSP ensemble

Bread Box

Bread Box:

8 ½ x 11 base CS

Score on 11 side @ ½, 2 ¾, 8 ½, 10 ½

8 ½ “side score @ ½, 2 ¾, 5 ¾, 8

Cut (4) DP 2 x 5 ½ Use (2) for outside of box use (2) for the long sides of the inside box

Cut (2) DP 2x 2 7/8 for outside of box on short ends

Cut (1) DP 5 1/2x3 for the bottom of the inside of the box

Use your template to see for cut lines and score marks

-All supplies needed above -Finished Box -size 5 ½ x 3

-Template you will receive Bake 3.x5 cakes and fill it


Marbling Technique-Swirled Snowflake Card



Measurements:

Garden Green CS 4 ¼ x11 score at 5 ½

White CS 5 ¼ x4- marble technique on this piece of CS

Brushed Gold 2 ¾ x 3 ½ turn as a triangle and layer on top of the real red under the tree embossed white image

Real Red 3x4 use dimesionals to adhere

White 1 ½ x2 to stamp sentiment on and punch out with modern label punch

Gold 1 ½ x 2 ¾ to use on modern label movers& shakers magnet for backing

Ribbon: 1 ½ inch striped real red ribbon- 5 ½ inches

Directions:

Take an empty stamp box and put in a few drops of gold and silver encore reinker in it. Use as much as desired for desired effect. HINT: Ink dries up quickly so if you are doing a few do them all at once set aside to dry- it does take awhile to dry.

Take your CS put dotto on the back and stick it to the top of the stamp box facing the marbles.

The marbles go in the bottom with the ink juggle to marbles in the ink and swirl them around shake up and down and around flip over and make them roll around on you CS. Then take CS out of box and set it aside to dry. You can dry it with heat tool but it still needs air drying. Set it aside while you’re doing the rest of your card.

The take the white 2 ¾ x 3 ½ cs and emboss the Christmas tree in gold on it and then layer the card from there using the card as a sample.

Days of Gratitude Card:

Measurements:

Espresso 5 ½ x 11 score at 4 ¼ Base of card

Autumn Spice DSP 5 ½ x 2 ¼

Old Olive 1x6 Die cut on Tasteful Trim the rick rack piece

Espresso 2 ¾ x 1 ¾ score on the 2 ¾ side score at ½ “ turn score line up and embellish w/ brads in the line

Cream cs 2 ¼ x 2 stamp sentiment on and cut it to fit on the above Espresso cs us dimensionals to adhere

Use cream confetti scraps to stamp your flowers on using the color coordinated markers and pop it

Out with the 1 3/8 inch circle punch then use the circle scallop punch and pop out with colored cs scraps

Add 1/8 inch espresso taffeta ribbon under the sentiment use a glue dot

Assembly:

· Fold Espresso base into card base stand long ways

· Then adhere DSP to espresso cs

· Attach Old Olive rick rack the add your scallop flowers down the left side.

· Take folded Espresso sentiment base and punch two hole with cropadile add 2 brads,

· Stamp sentiment on Cream Confetti in Cajun craze

· Trim down cs to fit onto Espresso sentiment base.

· Caddy corner sentiment adhere Espresso base with dimensionals

· Add ribbon underneath sentiment with a glue dot

Mommy & Me Class!!


This is my buddy Linda and she and her BFF Shellie came over with their two daughters that have just moved away to go college. They had a wonderful day of Mommy & Me stamping.

Christmas Collage


Measurements:

Soft Suede: 5 ½ x11 score 4 ¼ base of cs stamp in suede with EnFrancis BG stamp

Cherry Cobbler 5 ¼ x4 second layer some tearing on the right edge only

Water color CS 4 x 4 ½ stamp in brown Stazon Christmas collage center in the middle

Artichoke seam binding 6 ½

Vintage crochet ribbon 5”

Vintage brad Assembly:

· Stamp soft suede base in suede with En Francis BG stamp

· Cherry Cobbler 5 ¼ x4 second layer some tearing on the right edge only and distress a little on all other edges if u wish.

· Stamp in Brown Stazon Christmas Collage center of the stamp in the middle on the w/c paper

· Use water color pencils and blender pen to color the collage BG stamped area

· Then if you wish you can smooch sprits gold and vanilla over the top and use sponge to ink up edges to give it that vintage look or you can leave it with a cleaner look whatever your preference

· Tear and distress edges of the w/c paper

· Adhere the stamped collage piece on top of cherry cobbler and then tear your cobbler to fit with your cherry

· The gold waffle paper is to folded in ¼ folds back and forth on top of each other accordion style then staple (put the staple sideways not up and down) fan out the accordion smooch it flat and adhere it underneath the left side of the card under the cherry cobbler adhere with snail / dotto/glue dots.

· Now assemble all the layers together, Express base, put the cherry cobbler and collage stamped images distressed, torn and embellished as u wish next add the artichoke seam binding around the two top layers. Then weave the crochet ribbon thru the seam binding and stick vintage brad in it to hold it together with a glue dot behind it or dimensional. You may want to put little dotto behind the seam binding too.

House:
Base: 5 1/2 x 11 Fancy Favor
Roof: Cut (2) 3x 3 1/2 cut 2 emboss in lattice after you score it at 1/2"
Roof bottom trim:Cut (2) 3 1/2 x 1 1/2 score at 1/2 " scallop opposite side(big side)
Roof trim top:Cut (2) 1 1/2 x 3 score at 1/2 scallop big side
2x 3 for 2 tag die for door
window word punch for windows
1 1/4 square for side windows
Used seaming cherry cobbler for bow
Brown brad for door knob
Use a black velcro dot for the top of the house to bring it together so it will open and you can fill it with treats!!



Brayered cobbler all over pretp paper and then emossed gold onto top of the top note and then used gold and vanilla smooch spray.
